Objective
Deliver a celebratory pride-building campaign for Middlesex University to strengthen community spirit among students, staff, and alumni, both on and off campus.
My role
Contributed to concept creation, photography, art direction, and design, while also overseeing installation of large-format pieces across the university. Worked hands-on with the facilities team to identify impactful locations, including a three-floor lift shaft, and briefed printers to ensure production quality matched the creative vision.
Challenges
Managing the campaign during a period of understaffing meant taking on multiple responsibilities across creative and production. Large-scale installations also required careful coordination with facilities and suppliers to achieve the desired results.
Outcome
A bold, campus-wide and online campaign that celebrated Middlesex pride, brought together the university community, and created a strong visual presence across high-impact locations. The campaign was a runner up at the higher education HEIST awards for the best alumni initiative category, as well as winning an internal MDX staff award for the best team collaboration.
